That video that went viral of two girls fighting, with one grabbing a shovel and launching it at the other's head, is no joke to authorities. TMZ reports that police are investigating the fight in the clip and are considering filing assault charges.

A represented for Miami County Sheriff's office in Ohio put a deputy on the case after they heard from the girls' high school. Now Major Steve Lord is telling TMZ that the girl who threw the shovel at her foe might be charged with assault or disorderly conduct.

Despite rumors that she died from her injuries, the girl who was hit with the shovel, 15-year-old Miranda Lynn Fugate, has confirmed that she was not hurt in the incident.
