Insiders claim that Oprah Winfrey is gearing up to reboot The Oprah Winfrey Show, and she is ready to spend big to make it a success.
“Oprah is hell-bent resurrecting a new version of her TV interview show,” a source told the Globe Magazine. A move that will allegedly see the 62-year-old media proprietor spending a staggering $500 million on its re-launch.
“The bottom line is that Oprah loves the limelight. She misses all the attention that comes with doing blockbuster interviews."
Launched in 1986, the award-winning show ran for 25 seasons, clocking in 4,561 episodes. The show ended in 2011.
