Survivor Producer Convicted of Murdering His Wife...

Yesterday, Bruce Beresford-Redman was convicted of murdering his wife. The former producer of the CBS reality competition Survivor was sentenced to 12 years behind bars.

In 2010, the couple vacationed in Cancun Mexico. Three days after her disappearance, the body of Monica Beresford-Redman was discovered in a sewer. Detectives believe Bruce killed his wife in their resort hotel room, and then moved her body in an attempt to cover his tracks.

Monica’s sister told CBS News that the day before Monica’s death, they had a conversation. Monica was upset about Bruce having an extra-marital affair.

His attorney declared that they will appeal the verdict.
