Prosecutors in the Marion "Suge" Knight hit-and-run murder case say the rap mogul is a "prolific and unrepentant criminal" with a long history of violent crime, so they're asking that his bail be set at $25-million.
To back up the argument, the District Attorney's office prepared 295 pages of evidence, sworn affidavits and police reports showing a long history of assaults, robberies and extortion. It includes 31 incidents over the last 10 years in which Knight acted violently. Knight is expected in court today for a bail hearing. He is charged with murder and accused of deliberately running over Terry Carter and Cle "Bone" Sloan in a parking lot on January 29th. (LA Times)
