SUGE KNIGHT: Judge Won’t Drop Murder Charge

Suge Knight went to court today to find out that he’s still on the hook for the hit-and-run death of Terry Carter and attempted murder of Cle “Bone” Sloan. He is.

Although Sloan refused to identify Knight in court, the judge ruled there's sufficient evidence for the case to proceed against the Death Row founder -- specifically, video footage that makes it “very, very clear” that Knight was the person driving the SUV. Suge has maintained since being arrested in January that when he rammed his truck into the two men at a Compton burger joint, it was in self-defense. He's being held on $10 million bail, though his attorney is expected to ask the judge to take that number down later this month.

Knight is also awaiting a hearing in September that will determine if there’s enough evidence for him to stand trial in a separate robbery case where he and Katt Williams are accused of stealing a camera from a photographer. (L.A. Times)

Say What:

He’s gone through four attorneys since being arrested in January.

At previous hearings, he left the courtroom via ambulance, but this time he walked in and out without assistance.

He’s trying everything he can but Suge just doesn’t have the money to beat this one.
