Several Major events have been cancelled to support flood relief, but there are two events that are still my pick of the week.

Beside the super Live Ricky Smiley Show at the Ryman, please check out these two events:

Saturday, May 15 – 7^th annual The Nashville Panty Raid!

Where: Exit/Inn

Time: 9pm

Cost: $15 at the door

What: It’s the hottest burlesques show in town! They are planning a jaw dropping show to commemorate the occasion with performances from Hot Lava Lizzie, Ramona Rouge, Claire Carnivalia and Lula Licious of Panty Raid! as well striptease starlets Kicky La Rue, The Violet Vixxxen, Freya Luna and Diletta Delight.

The one and only Miss Lolly Pop will be manning the microphone all night long with the help of her trusty sidekick, Larry the Panty Boy. Leela Sophina, Queen of the Air and Chris Lemon will also be on hand to test their aerial skills and Tom Foolery, Sideshow Bennie and Anna Fiametta will be bringing the wince inducing sideshow stunts.

Thursday, May 20, 2010 - Fashionology

Where: Cannery Ballroom, One Cannery Row, Nashville, TN 37203

Time: VIP Reception (invite only) - 6:30p, Show - 8p

Cost: General Admission - $20

Fashionology is an annual charity fashion show benefiting the students of Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools and the Pencil Foundation. Proceeds from the show are used to award our annual scholarship, the SEVEN Ways Scholarship, and provide programs and activities for an adopted elementary school assigned by the Pencil Foundation (Fall-Hamilton Enhanced Elementary). We also ask that our guests bring in school supplies, making Fashionology one of the largest school supply drives for the LP Pencil Box.
