So...How do men view women with TATTOOS? A New Study Is Like...WHOA!

Tattoos have been around for thousands of years.

Men have long been the primary customer when it comes to tattoo parlors, but more women have taken to getting this type of ‘body art.’

While it may be easy to assume that men absolutely love women who have tattoos, there’s an interesting revelation that a number of French researchers have come across.

Across the world, there are about 12 percent of women who have tattoos but in the United States that percentage is 23. 

When men were shown pictures of women with various personal characteristics, those with tattoos were actually viewed less favorably. These women were seen to be less athletic, less intelligent, and less desirable.

Another aspect of the study found that women with tattoos, even though they were viewed in a more negative light among most men, tended to receive more sexual solicitations.
