Snoop Dogg was stopped at an Italian airport on Saturday for trying to board a plane with $422,000 in cash.
That’s when Italian finance police informed him they’d be taking a cut, seizing half of the Doggfather’s loot. It wasn’t because the nearly half-a-million bucks in Snoop’s Louis Vuitton luggage was considered ill-gotten gains, but rather due to “an administrative infraction.”
Snoop’s legal team was able to prove that the rapper earned the cash performing shows all across Europe in recent weeks. But because European Union policy prohibits airline passengers from carrying more than $11,000 in undeclared cash, cops are holding onto his funds until they determine an appropriate fine. (E! News)
