Shooting at a club in Antioch

A 24-year-old Memphis man is in critical condition after a shooting at an Antioch nightclub early Sunday.

Police were dispatched to 1141 Bell Road, at 2:58 a.m., police said. They found a man lying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to his torso. Police identified the man as Kevin Moore, 24. Moore was in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, police said.

According to witnesses, the gunshots rang out after Moore made advances on a woman who told Moore she had a boyfriend. Police said other men began yelling at Moore, and one of them fired shots. The suspect fled to a car behind the Olive Garden restaurant and fled.

Police continue to work to identify the shooter
