Marquise Jackson says his song “Different” isn’t meant as a diss at his famous father, 50 Cent. He tells TMZ “People are making it a diss because I guess they want it to be a diss. But it’s not. It’s what goes on in my life.” Though there’s a line about his father in the song, he says it’s more about moving out of Pop’s shadow than taking a shot.

We hear Rick Ross has been hooking up with reality star India Love. The Instagram model -- who just turned 21 -- has previously been linked to The Game, Soulja Boy and Lil Yachty. Other sources say there’s no spark between them and the only relationship is business related to the Bawse’s Rich Hair Care line.

Waka Flocka says a Brick Squad reunion “ain’t never happening.” Flockavelli said in a recent interview, “That Brick Squad was history. I enjoyed it, I loved it, it made me who I am today. It made him who he was today. But enough is enough, man. The Internet is not the streets.” Waka also wondered why his former mentor Gucci Mane hasn’t shot a video in East Atlanta since coming home. Could a diss be on the way? Considering Waka plans to drop a track called "Was My Dawg" soon, it seems likely.

ARETHA FRANKLIN: Ready to Retire

If you get the opportunity to see Aretha Franklin perform this year, take it because you won't get another chance. The Queen of Soul says she will retire after releasing her new album in September.

Aretha, who turns 75 next month, told Detroit TV station WDIV that she will record an album of all new material that will come out in September, and then retire from performing live. She said, "I feel very, very enriched and satisfied with respect to where my career came from, and where it is now. I'll be pretty much satisfied, but I'm not going to go anywhere and just sit down and do nothing. That wouldn't be good either."

But Aretha fans will likely to get one more chance to see her onstage. She says she is open to "some select things, many one a month, for six months out of the year." (Billboard)

CHARLES OAKLEY: Former NBA Star Arrested at Knicks Game

Back in the '90s, Charles Oakley was one of the toughest players in the NBA and a force on the Madison Square Garden court for the New York Knicks. Fans got a glimpse of the old days last night when Oakley got into a fight in the seats during the Knicks-Clippers game.

The game had to be stopped in the first quarter as 53-year-old Oakley, one of the most-beloved players in Knicks history, fought with security as they were trying to escort him out of the arena. Initial reports said that Oakley was shouting at Knicks Owner James Dolan and was asked to leave, but he denies he said anything to him and claims Dolan saw him sitting there and wanted him kicked out. The two have not had a very good relationship over the years.

DEVASTATED FALCONS FAN BURIES HIS JERSEY WITH A WARNING NOTE

People are still buzzing about the Super Bowl – with a lot of focus still on Tom Brady’s missing game jersey.

Well, another jersey is also in the news. A crushed Falcons fan buried his jersey – and wrote a serious warning to anybody who finds it.

After the Falcons choked away a 25-point lead and handed the New Patriots their 5th Lombardi Trophy, the fan buried the jersey he wore during the game and attached a note that read:

"If you have un-earthed this, you have not found anything vintage or cool. This shirt is bad luck … Seriously re-bury it immediately. If you are still curious and don’t believe me, Google Super Bowl 51. This shirt blew a 25-point lead. Put it back! Trust me!" (For The Win)
