Samsung may have lost in the U.S., but they won in Japan. On Friday, a Tokyo court ruled that the electronics company's smartphones didn't violate an Apple patent.
The Tokyo District Court's ruling focused on an Apple patent having to do with transferring media content between devices. Just last week, a U.S. jury decided that Samsung copied some of the key features on Apple's iPhone, but Apple didn't infringe on any the South Korean company's patents.
