SAD NEWS: Sly Stone from Sly and the Family Stone - Homeless, Drugged Out, and Living In A Van in Crenshaw :(
Sad news...one of our R&B/Rock & Roll Icons - Sly from Sly and the Family Stone is doing really bad right now. He's 70 years old and has been on them drugs for DECADES (he's lucky to be alive).
Currently, he's living in a van in the Crenshaw area of LA. And if you've ever seen a Gang Movie about Crenshaw Avenue in Los Angeles, you know it's not a place where you want to be living in a damn van.
This is a case of not if people have wanted to help Sly, but a case of Sly helping HIMSELF. I know alot about this and all I can say is that a person has to want to help themselves first. In the meantime, all we can do is pray!
God help this man....

DAMN! Lord have mercy and let this man want to help himself.... 70yrs old and still not ready, continue to bless him and i will continue to pray for him.

Wow, at his age it is truly sad to be strung out on drugs and living in such destitute conditions. My heart and prayers go out to him that he can be saved.
