RUSSELL BRAND: London Mayor?

Could Russell Brand be the next mayor of London? Friends of the comedian, who has become a huge political critic, say he told them that he wants to knock current London mayor Boris Johnson out of office in the 2106 election.  

Of course, the comedian may just be going for laughs but his spokesperson isn't denying the rumor saying, "We are not commenting." Brand has become increasingly critical of the political system both in his home country and in the United States saying that it's only in place to benefit the rich. And for that reason, he says he never votes in elections.
