Ron Isley was released from prison last week after serving three years on tax evasion charges. Speaking with the Steve Harvey Morning Show, the music legend said he's "overjoyed to be home," adding that his time behind bars "changed me a whole lot....Talking to young people and crying with themand people thatwere gonna be in there some years and that part really hurts.To see your people and all kinds of people... older people [locked up]." Isley said he did chapel shows every week "that kept me up" and plans to do a gospel album.
