If Rick Ross and Reebok have rekindled their relationship, then someone has some explaining to do.

Last spring, a petition was launched encouraging Reebok to drop Ross because of his lyrics that allegedly encouraged rape. As a result, he lost his endorsement deal with Reebok, but now that reports have surfaced that the company is quietly renewing their contract with Ross.

With rumors of a potential new deal, hundreds of sexual assault survivors are demanding to know if the Florida rapper is in fact back with Reebok -- especially after the company vowed to join the campaign against rape culture.

A spokesperson for UltraViolet, which spearheaded efforts to organize survivors to take a stand against Ross and Reebok, said, "As a survivor of sexual assault, I'd like to know if Reebok is rejoining the ranks of rape apologists. We cannot afford to have corporations like Reebok peddling women's empowerment on the one hand while giving their spokespeople a pass on sexual violence on the other."
