ACTRESS Fran Drescher has finally come clean, and revealed that her former husband, to whom she was married for 21 years, is gay.

Fran is probably best known for playing Fran Fine on the 1990s TV series The Nanny. Well in this week’s issue of In Touch Weekly, she told them that he husband Peter Marc Jacobson came out to her after the two split in 1999.

But get this. Fran GOT OVER IT and stayed friends with dude. Here’s an excerpt from the report:

The former couple created The Nanny together, still work on entertainment projects, and remain "the best of friends."

"We love each other dearly," she says. "We have even fixed each other up - I more successfully than him, by the way.

"Peter and I feel so blessed to have met each other and to still have a caring, loving relationship. Love is what we’re all about."
