Ray Rice Gets An Offer

Ray Rice has received his first offer to return to football, but this one won't require him to wear pads, a helmet or even step foot on a field. It will, however, require him to keep his hands to himself.

The former Baltimore Ravens star who was suspended after he assaulted his fiance' now wife, has been offered a job by a fantasy football league who wants him to be their fantasy insider. ProDraftLeague.com has reportedly offered Rice a one-year deal worth $500,000 which could double to $1 million if the site reaches its membership goals.

If he accepts the offer, Rice's job would include interviewing NFL players, writing a weekly column, speaking with the media and shooting commercials. The website's CEO Mark Tadros says, "Mr. Rice has shown deep remorse for his act of domestic violence and I feel he deserves a second chance." But there is one caveat. If he assaults his wife Janay again, his contract will be immediately terminated and all of the money he earned would be returned in addition to $500,000 in damages that the website might incur for being associated with him. There's no word yet if Rice is considering the deal. (TMZ)
