It's no secret that Raekwon and RZA have not seen eye to eye on the direction of the Wu-Tang Clan for a while now. However, it seems that the rift between the two rappers has only deepened with time, with talk ofRaekwon's alleged opposition to the new album contributing to its setbacks.
Raekwon has now gone on record with his feelings about the upcoming record, A Better Tomorrow, and the current direction of the Wu-Tang,speaking with Rolling Stone. The rapper explained that he is essentially "on strike" from the group, and that he will more than likely not appear on the new album at all.

On his disappointment with the new album: The bottom line: I’m not happy with that. I’m not happy with the direction of the music and I’m not happy with how dudes is treating dudes’ business. What are we giving the fans? What are we giving the people that help us be here? If it don’t feel right, I can’t be fake. And I’m not the only one who feels like that. Fans want the best and I have to sit here and work that hard to give them the best. Period.
