Once a Cheat, Always a Cheat...... REALLY???????

Recently I posted the comments below in regards to the Fantasia/Antwan Cook infidelity story that I'm sure you all have heard about. Then I was watching a preview of La La's Court where she asks a male friend "do all men cheat" to which he so nonchalantly replied "yes". So it pissed me off & really had me thinking the last few days and I'm curious to know what others think about this topic. Please read the post below and tell me what you think.

"So many women waste time & energy trying to keep a man that don't want to be kept. They will spy on him, stalk him. Hack his email, facebook page & his phone. Show up to his house unannounced & leave her belongings around to mark her territory. Come to his job & make scenes. Interrogate all of his family and friends. Pull their hair out, lose sleep & make themselves sick crying over him. Even allow themselves to get pregnant and have kids with this sorry bastard. And soon as she turns her head too long, he done cut the corner. Why!!!! It is so sad & pathetic. And with a married man at that. If he cheats on his wife, what would make you any better than she is? And if he lets you go, it simply means that he doesn't want you anymore. Cheating is not a part of love but it's a part of life if you let it. I'll say it again.... having a baby to keep a man- MAJOR FAIL! And a lot of you KNOW that your man is no good (i.e.. "Mr. Wrong") but you're a glutton for punishment. If love doesn't keep him then you will lose him like a set of keys. Any man that can't commit to making himself worthy of you doesn't deserve you. If he doesn’t have the discipline to be honest to himself and to make himself a better person then what good is he to you? Don't do it to yourself, you deserve better & so does your child. I'm a REAL MAN & I approve this message."

I then added....

"To all of you young girls who think you know what love is at 18 years old, here’s a gem. If your man is still living at home with his momma (with no plans of leaving), no job, no education, smokes weed & drinks, kids with other women that he doesn’t support (because he smokes weed & drinks with no job, no education & a momma’s boy), is in & out of jail AND keeps a dirty room…. RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!!"

After a young lady responded that A. Cook must be a Libra, Gemini or a Scorpio, (after taking offense) I replied with....

"Lets not bring astrology into this discussion. A cheating dog is a cheating dog no matter what sign he or she is. That said, being a Scorpio and of a certain age, I've lived long enough to experience both ends of the spectrum. And what I have learned is that you can justify just about anything but there is no acceptable excuse to be unfaithful.... PERIOD! As a man, what I absolutely HATE to hear now is that men can not be faithful. Society has made it so acceptable with the cliché "a man is gonna be a man", that it has become a forgone conclusion that all men cheat and that once a cheat, always a cheat. I have been in a relationship for 10 years & haven't cheated once. However in my younger years I was unfaithful in quite a few relationships to include marriage. As I said earlier, you can try to justify anything but at the end of the day it takes maturity, discipline and REAL LOVE to be faithful in any relationship. Temptation is always around us, some stronger than others but it depends on where your focus is. I am not proud of past infidelities & there has certainly been consequences for those mistakes. However I am a witness to the fact that men can change and men can be faithful. There is hope."

Am I totally off base here? Are all relationships now doomed to infidelity or are there people that still believe in true love and practice what they preach? Holla at ya old head. ONE!
