OLYMPICS: U.S. Remains in Medal Count Lead

After the close of Thursday's competition at the Winter Olympic in Sochi, Team USA added two more medals to its total -- a gold and a silver -- keeping them in first place. They now have 25 medals -- eight gold, six silver and 11 bronze.

The U.S.'s two medal winners were Maddie Bowman, who took gold in the first ever women's freestyle skiing halfpipe, and the women's hockey team, who won a silver after losing a 2-to-0 lead deep into the third period against Team Canada.

In second place in the medal count is host country Russia with 23, including seven gold.

The Netherlands is in third with 22, including six gold.

Norway, in fourth with 21 overall, leads with 10 gold medals
