Nadya "Octomom" Suleman was charged Monday with three felony counts of welfare fraud. According to the L.A. County District Attorney Office, Suleman, who gained media attention after giving birth to octuplets in 2009, failed to report $30,000 in income earned from appearances and videos between Jan. 1 and June 30, 2013, while applying for public assistance.
Suleman is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday where prosecutors will ask for bail to be set at $25,000.
The mother of 14 faces more than five years in prison if convicted on all counts.
