NENE LEAKES: Gets A Raise

In the world of reality television, NeNe Leakes is moving on up!

She was already the highest paid housewife on Bravo but now RadarOnline reports the Real Housewives of Atlanta star will be earning $1.5 million for the upcoming season, making her the highest paid reality star on the entire network.

“Without NeNe, RHOA wouldn’t be the ratings blockbuster that it continues to be," and because of that she was able to negotiate her huge pay increase, a source told Radar. Earlier this year when NeNe appeared on Arsenio Hall’s show, Leakes said the pay was “OK" but didn't know if it was worth it. "I began this so many years ago with other girls,” she said. "It has changed a lot over the years. I thought people would tune in to see the Real Housewives of Atlanta because they would get to see fabulousness -- never the hair-pulling and the punching and all that kind of stuff.”

NeNe is the only original cast member left on the show.
