Nashville Overpass To Be Named After Bishop Walker

The Nashville City Council voted 30-0 to name the Jefferson Street Overpass - The Bishop Joseph W. Walker III Overpass.

There were however 8 abstentions from some very noted local voices in our community and there is friction as to whether or not the city can rename the bridge because some believe it's owned by the State of TN.
