Someone called in a Drug Tip (pronounced SNITCHED) on Mary Scales, 72 of Sharpe Avenue in East Nashville.

When police showed up to investigate they found a cuddly teddy bear filled with nearly $15,000 in cash, packs of weed, scales, drug paraphenalia, and a .45 caliber pistol.

She is charged with possession of marijuana for resale, unlawful gun possession in the commission of a dangerous felony, theft (for possessing a stolen pistol) and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia
