My Man Frank Ski Opens A New Restaurant in The ATL Shawty!

Atlanta, GA (September 7, 2011) – Frank Ski, host of the top-rated morning show, Frank & Wanda in the Morning on V-103, has decided to expand his ever growing portfolio of work with his latest venture, Frank Ski’s Restaurant & Lounge. Located in the heart of Buckhead, this 8,000/sf restaurant & lounge features outdoor patios, private dining rooms, in addition to a beautiful bar, quality wine list, great cocktails and live music. The restaurant seats over 300 people and will offer classic American fare.

Having an passion and affinity for food and wine, owning a restaurant and lounge has been a lifelong dream of Ski’s. “I’ve been fortunate enough to have a successful career in radio and television, create a wonderful foundation, Frank Ski Kids, and most importantly be a husband and father to four amazing children. Opening this restaurant & lounge is just the next step for me at this point in my life and I look forward to the opportunity,” says Ski. When designing the space, Ski wanted to create a look and feel of a restaurant and lounge you would find in New York, Miami or Los Angeles, while still giving it that Atlanta touch. Whether you’re looking for a great meal or elect to simply enjoy the lounge atmosphere while sipping on delicious cocktails from the bar, Frank Ski’s offers the best of both worlds. “I want to create an experience for those individuals who dine or lounge with us. I want them to leave feeling pleased with the food, drinks and service they receive,” says Ski. To help with this vision are partners Tavon Johnson and entertainment & media mogul Kevin Liles, as well as former Houston’s Manager James Johnson, who has been brought on to run the restaurant and serve as General Manager. Frank Ski’s Restaurant & Lounge will be officially open for dinner on Monday, September 19th. The restaurant will be open 7 days a week, serving dinner, weekend brunch, as well as a limited late night menu.
