Mo’Nique Is Launching a Podcast to Discuss Her Open Marriage

Mo'nique is well-aware of how controversial her decision is to have an open marriage, which is probably why she and her husband, Sidney Hicks, are launching a podcast to talk about their open relationship.

The comedian and actress tweeted information about the podcast on Friday. She said that it will premiere Jan. 11, although there's no word about whether it'll appear on an established outlet or will run on a website created and managed by Mo'nique and her team.

Mo'nique has been talking about the open arrangement in her marriage for years. She argues that people need to be painstakingly honest with their spouses about what they need and want in a marriage—even if that means getting it in with someone other than their spouse every now and then.

In her series of tweets announcing the podcast, she said that the podcast will be "real talk, real honesty, real love." It's looking as if it will also be a self-help series that teaches people how to live their best lives altogether.
