MITT ROMNEY: His Campaign is $11 Million in Debt

More bad news this morning for Mitt Romney. Official filings released today will show that his campaign is about $15 million in debt.

Reports from the National Journal indicate that his campaign is not only behind in the polls, but also deep in the hole. Just last month, the Romney campaign borrowed $20 million dollars. Despite all the fundraising we’ve been hearing about, there was only a little cash around to shave down the debt (since the official filing). It still owes around $11 million.

The widely held belief was that this campaign was swimming in money. Today’s filing disproves that notion, and makes some people question how a successful businessman like Romney could allow his campaign go so deeply in debt.
