Meet the "Ice Cream Scrooge"!

What would summer be without the sweet sound of music blaring from an ice cream truck?

According to Long Beach, California Councilman Dee Andrews it would be peaceful. He requested an agenda item on Tuesday night that would force ice cream truck owners to follow noise ordinances and force them to stop playing their music while serving customers.

Some have started calling Andrews an ice cream scrooge, but he says he's just asking for some peace and quiet. "I love ice cream, and I love ice cream trucks, but there's a time and a place or everything, and all I'm asking is for some common courtesy," he said. "Once you stop, please turn off the music and when you're done selling, turn it on and keep going and let them know you're coming."
