MASTER P: Starring in New Reality Series

Master P is ready for his close-up -- and this time he hopes to make it a family affair. The No Limit Records CEO will bring his family to the small screen for a new reality series called Master P’s Family Empire, which will follow him as he juggles working and raising his five children, ages 10 to 25. P says, "We’re about to make it cool to watch good, positive, family TV. The Kardashians are entertaining but what we’re doing is positive entertainment, which is supposed to not be cool. With my family, we’re going to make it cool, because we’ve been cool our whole lives.” The series will focus on Miller raising his two youngest sons, 12-year-old Mercy and 10-year-old Hercy. The mogul will also offer guidance to his oldest children, rapper and actor Romeo, 22-year-old model Veno and 18-year-old Nickelodeon star Cymphonique. The show is set to premiere in November on the Reelz channel. (AllHipHop)

There’s a lot going on with that family -- it'll be interesting to see a portrait of their life.

This doesn’t sound all that different than Run’s House or T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle or really any other family-based hip-hop reality show.

Even though his music career is long gone, Master P still hustles.

Given the ages of his kids, the show has a chance to appeal to multiple generations.
