Officials at Howard University in Washington, D.C. say Mary J. Blige hasn't quite finished the process of enrolling. In a statement released yesterday, the school said, "Howard University congratulates Ms. Blige on the recent completion of her high school requirements. We encourage Ms. Blige to continue her studies and welcome her consideration of Howard University in the future. We are happy to work with Ms. Blige on completing the formal process for admission."

Cops in L.A. were looking for Suge Knight yesterday after he skipped a court date there yesterday. TMZ reports Knight was supposed to appear in court last week for driving on a suspended license back in 2009, the latest in a string of recent legal run-ins for the menacing music mogul.

DMX was released from prison Tuesday in Arizona. An attorney for the rapper, born Earl Simmons, confirms he served four months of a six-month sentence for violating his probation.

Ciara has an $11,000-a-month shoe habit. She tells Pride magazine, "When I go shopping, my most extravagant purchases are normally going to be shoes."

Al B. Sure is asking fans to send well-wishes to his mother, who's undergoing chemotherapy after breast cancer surgery. He says, "I have no idea what I will do when it's time, but she has injected a strength in me and she is my rock, and we are rolling together till the wheels fall off."

Justin Timberlake's next film, Friends With Benefits, will start shooting in New York City on July 20th.
