Marvin Gaye Biopic on HOLD...Uggghhh!

We're hearing that several factors are limiting the likelihood that a planned bio-pic of Marvin Gaye, starring Jesse L. Martin, will ever be produced. While the Broadway-trained former Law and Order co-star seemed an ideal candidate to play the late Motown icon, reports indicate that interference from Gaye's family, as well as rumors of other competing productions, have kept cameras from rolling. The plan for the movie, titled Sexual Healing, was to have it in theaters for the 30th anniversary of Marvin's death three years from now.
