Focused On Urban Issues, Nightlife, & Kenny Smoov
Minister Louis Farrakhan, noted organizer and leader of the Nation of Islam, is scheduled to speak in Nashville this week during a conference designed to foster leadership among students at historically black colleges and universities.
Farrakhan will speak at the Black United Summit International Leadership Conference on April 16.
The conference will be held at Tennessee State University. Farrakhan will speak at 6 p.m. in the Kean Hall Gymnasium.
According to a news release, Farrakhan's keynote speech will address strategies and skills to encourage equality for the black community. The conference will also include sessions on leadership, conflict resolution, forming a business plan and self-defense training.
