Local News: Teen killed in Nashville nightclub shooting

Police are looking for the man accused of shooting a 17-year-old to death in a crowded nightclub in Nashville.

The shooting happened at 1 a.m. Sunday at the Kilimanjaro club on Arctic Avenue.

Brandon Williams was found unresponsive on the dance floor.

He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died.

Police said the gunman is in his mid to late 20s who is between 5'6" and 5'11" and has shoulder-length dreadlocks. He was wearing a red and white striped shirt and jeans at the time of the shooting.

Police said there was a large crowd inside the club at the time of the shooting, but most of the witnesses were already gone by the time officers responded. WSMV
