Local News: Children Are Denied Entry Into a Private School Because Parents Are Gay

Courtesy of WTVF: A local school’s decision to deny entry to two children of a same-sex couple has gone viral.

The married same-sex couple had applied for their young children to go to a non-denominational private school in Nashville. Everything seemed to be on track until they received a letter denying their entry because the children had gay parents.

The letter referenced the school's admissions policy, which requires everyone involved in the school, including students and parents, to abide by the school's missions and beliefs. Homosexuality apparently goes against that policy.
