LAURYN HILL: Facing Jail Time Over Unpaid Taxes

Lauryn Hill is facing jail time over unpaid taxes. According to the Wall Street Journal, a U.S. Attorney in New Jersey announced today a three-count charge against Ms. Hill, who allegedly failed to pay taxes from 2005 to 2007 on $1.6 million in taxable income.

Lauryn faces a maximum of one year in prison and a $100,000 fine. She's slated to appear in court on June 29th. --Rahim Wright
