JOHN LEGEND: War of Words With Donald Trump Junior

John Legend has a reputation for being a pretty nice guy — but he recently found himself in a war of words with Donald Trump Junior.

It started when Trump’s son tweeted, wondering aloud how and why students in Chicago shut down his dad’s campaign rally. Legend attempted to explain, saying, “I think they were protesting your racist father. This isn’t complicated.”

Despite the honest and straightforward response, Internet trolls still came out of the woodwork to try and put Legend in his place. When one Twitter user with an egg avatar and the username “RedKneckHillBilly” asked, “Is John Legend that disgraceful? No education.” The singer clapped back by responding, “The Donalds and I graduated from the same university, funny enough.”

*  John Legend can hold his own in a debate. He's smart, assertive and informed about the issues.

*  We shouldn't even pay attention to Trump. He's not worth us wasting our breath to espond.

*  Isn't it funny how quickly political debates can devolve into name-calling and baseless personal attacks?

*  John Legend knows how to point out the facts while keeping it classy.

*  Guess Mr. Legend won't be invited to play any fundraisers, inaugurations or benefits should Trump win.
