Solder Technician Solders cable assemblies to connectors, components to printed circuit boards. Performs continuity tests, follows the documented management system. Understands SMT, Thru-Hole & J-Cup soldering techniques. Ability to understand & use CAD drawings & Bill of Materials to produce a quality product.
**HS diploma required**
**At least 2 years of soldering experience or certification from a recognized training provider. **

Verifies incoming parts, stocks parts, picks parts from list, releases complete kits to production floor. Records all discrepancies to lead, stocks all returns. Understands & operates ERP software to produce reports. Must understand & employ FIFO style of picking & stocking. Ability to operate handheld computers & barcode scanners.

Performs activities in processing wiring components & wiring assemblies including conduit, wires & cables. Operates machines that press, shape or wind component parts. Performs online go-no-go testing & inspection. Basic math skills, ability to distinguish between colors, must be able to know & recognize the difference between a variety of hand tools such as a box end wrench, vice grip, adjustable wrench, socket wrench & various screwdrivers.

**Ability to manufacture work products from work instructions without assistance**

Job Duties:
Answers the telephones and greets patients in a courteous, efficient manner and always identifies themselves and Tennessee Oncology.
Takes complete messages from incoming calls with caller's name, phone number, and what the message is regarding, along with employee's initials.
Answers the telephones by the third (3rd ) ring. Does not leave caller on hold more than a few seconds.
Makes new and return patient appointments per physician scheduling grid/preferences.
Obtains pre-patient registration information and insurance card copy for new patients and assures it is complete before giving it to the registrars.
Schedules appropriate tests and admissions per physician orders.
Pre-certifies any tests and admissions as required by the insurance.
Reschedules patients either by mail or by telephone in a timely manner.
Documents appropriate information relating to particular office procedures in patient chart.
Has charts pulled and prepared two days in advance for Registrars and Nurses.
Obtains records on new and current patients and places in chart prior to patient's appointment.'
Has dictation filed in chart prior to patient's appointment and dictated correspondence mailed within one day of receipt.
Opens and distributes mail properly and in a timely manner.
Provides medical records to insurance companies, State Disability, other physicians and patients in a timely manner.
Files on a daily basis to keep records current.
Requirements
Previous medical office experience required
Experience with Electronic Medical Records strongly preferred
Ability to productively and effectively work in a fast paced clinic environment
Excellent customer service skills
Dependability
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
