Jill Scott Gets Hitched In Secret Ceremony

It began with a seemingly innocuous tweet. After being awarded the 2016 BET Humanitarian Award, Grey’s Anatomy star and activist Jesse Williams delivered a moving, monumental speech about how much Black Lives Matter, and how black lives have been exploited for years by popular culture.

Many are surprised this morning that Jill Scott has jumped the broom again, including her DJ!

DJ Mars posted last night that he has no idea he was working Jill’s wedding or that his homeboy was marrying her. They sure knew how to keep a secret!

The reception had an 80’s theme with a special performance by Big Daddy Kane.
