Former congressman Jesse Jackson Junior, behind bars for misusing his campaign finances, has been transferred to a prison camp in Montgomery, Alabama. Jackson, who had been held at a facility in North Carolina, asked to be sent to the Alabama location because it has facilities better suited to treat his bi-polar disorder.

The move comes just days after Jackson allegedly ran afoul of prison officials for advising other inmates on their legal rights. Sources say that although Jackson was initially put in solitary confinement, a investigation later found he hadn't done anything wrong.

Jackson is due to be released in December 2015, though he could get out earlier with good behavior.

Hmmmmm???

  • Sounds like the prison in North Carolina realized they messed up and gave Jesse Junior what he wanted.
  • Do you think Jesse Jackson Junior can resurrect his political career when he gets out?
  • Can you blame stealing campaign money on a bi-polar condition? Or does he need to own up to being greedy?
