I had no idea Subway Bread Contained....

Subway has agreed to remove a chemical from its bread that's also found in shoe rubber and yoga mats. The chemical (azodiacarbonamide) is commonly used in the production of foamed plastics like yoga mats and rubber-soled shoes. Subway uses the USDA and FDA approved ingredient as a bread conditioner to whiten the dough and allow it to bake faster. Subway says the chemical will be completely removed from its bread as soon as possible. The decision was largely in response to a petition from activists urging them to do so. (USA Today)
