Hulk Hogan was awarded another $25 million in his sex tape lawsuit against Gawker.
This time the money was for punitive damages. Monday, Gawker Media was ordered to pay $15 million, site owner Nick Denton must fork over $10 million, and A.J. Daulerio, the site's editor in chief at the time the sex tape was posted, is on the hook for $100,000.
The same jurors awarded the wrestler $115 million on Friday for emotional stress and economic damages. They could have awarded Hogan up to three times that amount in punitive damages, or $345 million.
After his win Friday, the Hulkster tweeted: “Told ya I was going to slam another giant.” (Los Angeles Times)
