House of Payne CANCELLED...!

Tyler Perry's TBS sitcom House of Payne has been canceled after five years and seven seasons. But it's not all bad news -- the replacement is the new show For Better or Worse, which will feature Marcus and Angela from Perry's Why Did I Get Married film series. There's no word on whether Michael Jai White and Tasha Smith will reprise their roles.

Tyler sent out a statement announcing the news of the cancellation just a few days after For Better or Worse was announced.

NOTE:  I admit, I AM a Tyler Perry Fan, but I never watched an episode of "House of Payne".  Not even ONE!  There was just too much "buckin' and shinin'" on there for my taste.  But 5 years gets you into syndication so kudos to Tyler and the Cast...
