HOLD UP: Whitney is bigger than a TV Bio-Pic!

Whitney Houston's family isn't ready to give their blessing to a planned television movie about the late singer -- because they think she's big enough to merit a big-screen bio-pic.

TMZ reports that the diva's survivors are not happy about Lifetime network's plan to have Angela Bassett direct a flick about her life and death, and may even file a lawsuit to stop it. Pat Houston, Whitney's former manager and sister-in-law, tells the site, "Whitney is certainly worthy of more than a television movie. If Whitney were here today, this would not be happening."
