Hillside Avenue Man MURDERED last night

One man has died in an overnight shooting. The suspects were able to get into a house at 1217 Hillside Avenue in Edgehill.

They shot both men, and they were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. One man died, and the other man was expected to survive after being shot in the leg.

The shooting happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday night, and police remained on the scene Thursday morning. Officers had to wait for a search warrant because the man killed was the homeowner.

Officials have not yet released their identities. Police are searching for at least two suspects in the shooting, and they have not yet released a suspect description.

Another shooting happened just after 2 a.m. in North Nashville on East Nocturne Drive.
