Charles Douglas Mitchell, a 2015 graduate of Fisk University is an extreme performer of the fine arts. Performing all over the city of Nashville such as the Ryman Auditorium, Nashville Convention Center, The Grand Ole Opry just to name a few, he was even awarded the title “Top Performers of Nashville” in 2013. He has been training classically for eight years with After School Matters in Chicago, Illinois and at Fisk University under the training of Valija Bumblis. Charles has also been performing around the world with the World Renown Fisk Jubilee Singers® who just returned from Birmingham England on their second tour to the U.K. Recently receiving his Bachelors of Music in Music Vocal Performance his goal is to obtain his masters of music and from there travel overseas to become a world renown bass-baritone singer.
