Hair weave thief on the loose!!!!

Chicago police are searching for two people who were involved in an armed robbery of a beauty supply store last week.

According to police, one female and one male entered the shop and proceeded to rob the clerk at gun point.

The duo got away with 10 packs of Remy hair extensions that are valued at $100 per pack. This is not the first time Chicago has been hit by hair weave thieves, last year $230,000 worth of hair weave was stolen from another Chicago salon.

CNNMoney reported this past week that hair extension theft is on the rise and is a very profitable underground market.

The two thieves in Chicago are still on the run.
