It’s been nearly two years since Gucci Mane got locked up for carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct and marijuana possession among other charges. Recently he penned a letter to fans, updating them on his time away.

He begins the letter talking about past regrets and how he was both proud and angry when he released his first album, Traphouse, 10 years ago. He says he was proud of the quality of the project but “angry that someone had to be killed over a dispute about the rights to some of the contents of the album.”

Gucci says with the time to reflect, he has shown his resilience and that he looks forward to getting out and helping the community. He also says he hopes to show the world how much he has grown, though he doesn't regret any of his actions over the last decade. He concludes the letter by saying he’s focused and that he “will be returning very soon” before signing off with his signature “it's Gucci!” (XXL)

Say What:

He’s released more mixtapes and albums while in jail then some artists do in their entire careers.
