GERMANWINGS PLANE: Co-Pilot Deliberately Crashed Plane

Officials investigating the crash of the Germanwings flight in the French Alps believe that the co-pilot deliberately crashed the plane.

Citing information learned from the cockpit voice recorder, French prosecutors say the co-pilot locked the captain out of the cockpit and took sole control of the flight because he "wanted to destroy the plane." All 149 people aboard the flight from Barcelona to Duesseldorf, Germany were killed. 

Investigators say the co-pilot, who's been identified as 28-year-old Andreas Lubitz, deliberately descended the plane as the pilot tried unsuccessfully to regain entry into the cockpit. (ABC News)
