People are still taking about the letter Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe wrote to a Maryland legislator who tried to use his position to muzzle Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo's support of gay marriage.
Kluwe's original letter, published on Friday on Deadspin.com, was filled with some hilarious colorful language, much of which isn't suitable for broadcast.
On Saturday, he published an edited version without the dirty words on his "Out of Bounds" blog on TwinCities.com because some people, including his father, told him it would have been more effective without the salty language.
Here's an excerpt in which Kluwe asks Maryland state delegate Emmett C. Burns Jr., why he's so concerned with gay marriage:
"If gay marriage becomes legal, are you worried that all of a sudden you’ll start thinking about DANCING CHUBTOAD? “ALACK AND ALAS MY TOP HAT HAS FALLEN. Gay marriage just passed. Gotta get me some of that DELICIOUS STATE FAIR HOTDOG!”
