Fred Hammond Recovering After Double Knee Surgery

Gospel singer Fred Hammond is recovering after undergoing knee replacement surgery on both knees.  A common procedure for heavy adults.

The surgery was successful.  The singer confirmed his status via Facebook, writing:

"3.5 hours later family, I’m DONE!!!! All went well! Thanks to a great doctor and his staff, an epidural and IV of tequila don’t trip LOL Thank you … I’m a little Zooted but I got new knees!!!"  Lol
